@claireos: Too funny! I hate when they something that you didn’t quite make out but you don’t want to make a big deal about it b/c it’s one of those topics and you may not have even heard him correctly anyway. Then you have to play it off cause you don’t want to risk sounding crazy or too pressed for him to repeat it, but at the same time you need some confirmation/clarification. Hate that. It’s definitely happened to me once or twice.

RHRs must be like waiting therapy, because I was in Zales one day looking at a black diamond for myself. Came close to buying it. I think I was subconsciously hoping that buying a new ring would give SO an idea. But I decided against it.

I also hate when he catches me looking at rings or wedding-related things online. Other times though I want him to see.* shrugs*

it sounds to me like he slipped up, good job letting it go so you dont ruin the moment, hopefully it will come soon πŸ™‚ what was the look on his face after he said it? was it like an “oh crap” look?

@claireos: Don’t ask him. I think now that so much time has passed it will be too obvious that it’s been eating away at you. And he probably didn’t mean to spill the beans anyway…I’m sure he’s kicking himself, haha. Now you’ll just have to wonder. And the bad part is the more time passes the more you doubt what you heard. The worst!

Maybe bring up the topic of your RHR again to see if he spills any more beans πŸ™‚

@claireos: OH hahahaha – I think he accidentally outed himself!  Just pretend that didn’t happen and let you both recover – the sooner he recovers perhaps the sooner he’ll ask!

What is an RHR btw?

I agree – as much as it may eat away at you, don’t ask!! For some strange reason, the less you ask, the more info the guy gives. I have no idea why. I used to constantly talk about all things marriage related and since I stopped, Mr. C has been singing like a canary….lol This is so exciting!

@claireos: YOU BAD GIRL!!! Now pretend that didn’t happen either or you are going to end up torturing yourself!

@claireos: Hilarious that he is playing the “I don’t know what you’re talking about.” card!

@claireos – Okay let’s be real, I would have eventually given in and asked too…lol I think he slipped up and said too much and now he’s trying to cover his tracks. Either way, try not to obsess too much because it won’t make things happen any faster. Hang in there…
