OK, does anyone else find themselves stalking wedding websites of other couples sharing venues/vendors and feel like a total creeper?!
Fiance and I are starting to narrow down venue options, now that we’ve decided to have our wedding in our current hometown (where we’re in grad school together), and I’m trying to get a picture of what receptions in these different venues look like. The thing is, it’s a small town so there are only a few options, so I’m finding several wedding websites from people who are using all of our possible venues (ie, ceremony in our chapel, reception in one of the halls we’re considering on campus, and same hotel for all Out of Town guests). While this is extremely convenient, I still feel slightly shady, like I’m wedding crashing these strangers’ big day in absentia.
Anyone else out there creeping on total strangers? Or is that just me?

LOL. yes, guilty. I used to stalk TK for people with the same dress as me, or the same venue. I also would look at people’s pictures through the venue’s facebook. I felt like a nut case but there is just something about seeing people in YOUR dress or at YOUR venue that makes it feel real 🙂

Oh, totally, and I have no guilt whatsoever about it! In fact, right now I have a tab open to google search “[possible venue] wedding photography” because it’s an easy way to see pics that photographers have posted of your venue and really see it in action. I’m not at the wedding dress stage yet, but I’m sure I’ll be searching that too!
