T’s got my camera in his coat pocket still so I can’t upload any pics of my latest semi-diy goodness!
I got the design whimsy to announce our engagement on the back of our Christmas cards!
they’re photo cards (really cute pics of all 3 of us on them) and on the back, is a type of specialty paper you can write on. So, I figured if you can write on them, you could also EMBOSS on them!! Right??
So I began this afternoon embossing a cute logo in red glitter embossing powder and writing our engagement announcement on the back of our cards!
Double duty bay-bee!
I’ve also found an amazing vendor who will create my own invitation suite and do alot of extras and I’ll be able to print them off and customize them even more should I choose to!
I need my camera back!

Awesome! I love semi homemade!

Aw! Go get that camera back girl! I can’t wait to see what you’ve done. Originally I would have sent our invites with our Christmas cards as well but I haven’t gotten the invites yet (another rant for another post).

I totally understand and will get that camera back! Plus we have cute pix together from our event last night.
I’m sending out std’s b/c it will be a destination wedding for everybody else except for us and T’s parents!
This way, it is a cute and also fiscally-wise ($) way to announce the engagement without breaking the wedding bank. I found the cutest stamp for about 4.99 at Michael’s that I embossed. It is two champagne glasses toasting each other with a heart under it!

That embossing stamp just sounds so cute! Are you going to use it for more DIY goodness later?

- Wedding: June 2010 - Ceremony - First United Methodist Church; Reception - My parents' house!
I want to see them! 🙂 You always do such a fantastic job with paper goods.
P.S. Please don’t turn into Sandra Lee. She makes me so nervous. Adding frozen juice concentrate to everything and talkin’ about tablescapes. *shudder*

I can’t WAIT to see them!!! You are so, so cute!

I wanna see! I wanna see!!!!

Ah ha ha ha ha ah 50! I don’t like her either, but for entirely different reasons. I like to eat grape juice concentrate right out of the container. It’s like a really intense slushy!

I want to see those pics belle when you have a chance 🙂 🙂

Wow, out of the CAN, KMSull? That’s intense
PS, there’s a really good recipe out there that uses lemonade concentrate, condensed milk, and gelatin to make an icebox pie that is to die for. Summery goodness.
