LOL– my dog always sleeps in the bed, but when he sleeps on the floor it usually is a sign that he doesn’t feel well :/

@hisgirl10: uhh I am that riduculious puppy mom except I have two pit-mixes who are both 60lbs. and sleep wiht me and my Fiance, wouldn’t want it any other way and when one of them goes to sleep on the floor my Fiance and I both get worried and make them come up on the bed!
I WISH our dog would sleep on the floor. Little mut is so annoying at night.
Ou dog slept in his crate for the first year, then was on a dog bed for a while before we let him up into the bed. Now, at six, we sent him back to the dog bed. It’s better for everyone this way.
Maybe your dog is more comfortable on the floor now. Remember that they are wearing a fur coat 🙂 and it’s cooler on the floor. 🙂
I know, when my kittens don’t come to bed with me I pout a little. Especially cause my husband works ~4 nights a week. I need my snuggle buddies! They usually wander in by 3 am or so, though.
I have a dog but im allergic to her lol I have her anyway because I wasn’t so allergic when I first got her. Over the years it’s gotten way worse but I just deal for now. So she can’t sleep with me or even be on my bed or i’ll be miserable. But she usually sleeps with my son or in her bed. She actually really likes her bed but it has to be in my sons room or she will actually go and drag it in there so she can sleep. She’s a wierd little thing. She knows the rules though about my room and bed. That’s a no no.
@hisgirl10: LMAO!!!! I feel like I am talking to my twin. I am super jealous that my dog loves Darling Husband more than me! My dog also sleeps in the bed with us.
She has her own pet stairs so she come up on our bed because our bed is very high. Its so cute how she uses the stairs.
This is one of the photos from the wedding of Darling Husband and our little Daisy!
My cats sleep on the bed, but I don’t think when we have dogs they will be allowed on the bed.
My girl cat almost always goes to bed with me. I work second shift, so when I get home Fiance is asleep in bed and Penny is sleeping on the couch. Once I get into bed she hops up and sleeps on my legs. FI actually gets pretty mad that she almost always sleeps on me and only rarely on him!
I do get a litte sad when Penny won’t sleep on the bed right away, but she always ends up there eventually. Sheldon is weird, he doesn’t come on the bed at night but after Fiance has gotten up, fed them, and gone to work they both come sleep on me until I get up.
@ebarnes0: Ha ha me too!
@hisgirl10: I totally get it. Our two pups sleep with us every night usually nestled against us in some way. Sometimes when they get too warm they jump down and sleep on the floor and I miss them terribly. *sigh*
@hisgirl10: I think it’s okay to be a little crazy about your pets. I cook all of my dog’s meals, so it can’t be that bad right lol?
@hisgirl10: Lol. Yup. Our 1st dog always slept on the floor in our room (bed frame is too high n SO wouldn’t let him sleep with us). When we got him as a puppy he was so attached to us. I had to sleep in the guest room with a lower bed frame n pet him every couple of hours bc he would cry. A little after he turned 1 years old he went downstairs to the living room n slept by himself. He would come up at 5am when SO gets up for work. I was fine with it but SO was sad. Lol
I’ll be the first to admit I’m pretty attached to my dogs and spoil them and give them *too* much attention (if there is such a thing??). We have a 3 year old puggle who is extremely attached to me and it’s obvious I’m his favorite over my fiance. He sleeps in the bed and him and I spoon/cuddle way more than my fiance and I do, ha! He always always sleeps with me. My fiance says that he’ll reach over in the middle of the night for me, but instead gets the dog. Our 13 year old shepherd girl is more independent and likes her space so she has a bed on the floor that she sleeps in. But we’re really just all attached to each other. We take trips that we can bring them on, and have never ever left them with anyone but my family when we couldn’t. When considering venues, we only looked at places that allowed dogs because we’re including them in the wedding! 🙂
Lol! I do the same thing with my little man. He was going to sleep on the coach the other night and after calling him several times I went and picked him up. I really enjoy our night snuggles especially now that it’s cold out!!
@hisgirl10: Haha. One day our dog decieded that he was a “big boy” now and started sleeping in HIS OWN ROOM! We have a guest room and he sleeps on a comfy mattress all night. I think he likes being able to stretch out as he see’s fit. I keep our bedroom door open all night just in case. He comes into a room religiously at 7AM jumps in the bed and starts pawing my Fiance at 7:30 to go to the bathroom. They grow up so fast!
