Ours doesn’t like sleeping with us on the bed. Hurts my feeligns every time – I just want him to cuddle with us! I don’t even mind his doggy breath 🙁

When Fiance and I got our kitten, he used to sleep smack dab in between us. When Fiance would leave for work, Milo (kitty!) would switch and lay on my back (I sleep on my tummy) or on my head. We got him over summer break, and once I left again for my second year of graduate school, Milo’s habits changed, and he doesn’t seem to like sleeping on the bed at all anymore.

This makes me sad, because I feel like I betrayed him by leaving for school, and that’s why he won’t sleep in our bed anymore 🙁

Lol we have two dogs & we like sleeping all stretched out so were happy when they sleep on floor! I was trying to enforce our no dogs on bed rule, which didn’t last, and I see Dh has something under the covers. ” what’s that”? I ask “not theo that’s for sure” ha ha he was trying to be sneaky! Ugh he loves him too much, I do too but I prefer our bed fluff free! Also a few nights ago he asks if I can scoot over because theo needs room lol. Though I don’t necessarily like them on our bed I like when our theo sleeps like a person head on pillow and all. Our other dog, Luna, prefers sleeping under the bed or by our feet.

Obviously I am obsessed with my little one. As you can see from my profile pic she likes to sleep like a human with her head on the pillow and her body under the covers. She is the second best decision of my life. The first would be saying yes to my FI’s proposal!

@hisgirl10:  I get a little offended if at least one of my cats doesn’t sleep with me… Our dog is too big and too much of a bed hog to sleep in bed with us, but his bed is right next to mine and if he doesn’t lay down when I go to bed (and Darling Husband is up in the livingroom) I get offended. lol

@whoa_its_ash:  omg I do the same thing. I also panic if I can’t tell if they are breathing. I check on my dog when I come home (he’s deaf so he doesn’t know when we come home if he’s sleeping) just to check that he’s breathing.  morbid!

@hisgirl10:  I am a ridiculous puppy mama too. I can’t say that our boxer has ever decided he didn’t want to sleep in our bed, but I am sure I would have the same reaction that you did!

awwww. i would die inside if my pup decided to sleep on the floor.  he always sleeps at the end of the bend in between my calves. i’m a ridiculous pup mommy too (although he is almost 3 years old he will always be a pup in my eyes)

@hisgirl10:  yep!!! our one dog sleeps with us allllll the time, then one night decided nope I’m sleeping on the floor, I got so so so sad.. Thinking she didn’t love us, just like you. But after doing research to make sure she was okay I found out that dogs will just randomly become okay and comfortable not being so close to their owners. It made me so sad that my baby gitil was growing up!!! Darling Husband thinks I’m pathetic, bc to this day if she’s not in bed with us I get sad bc I miss her

@hisgirl10:  I would have felt the same way! My puppy (she’s actually 5 :/) attached to me all the time since I stopped working, and at night she sleeps the same way as yours does, like people!

sometimes when my husband is working nights, she passes out in a pile of blankets on the couch… And she doesn’t follow me to bed… But I’m such a sap, I can’t sleep until she comes jumping into bed, or I will just go out to the living room and carry her in (which is exactly what she wants!)
