It’s tough trying to find someone else to replace anything you had your heart set on. It doesn’t look too hard to make though. Tulle, ribbon and flower? Maybe you could attempt to make it yourself.

I agree with the PP. Look simply enough. Maybe a few test runs

Or put out an alchemy request on Etsy for something similar?

What about getting a tutu? That might still give you the fluffy feel of that dress. I know that there are Etsy sellers who make them, but you could probably also find them at an online dance costumer.

@SHERREEJASON: Hun don’t fear. That doesn’t look difficult at all. I would take the suggestion of either buying a tutu, or just a poufy dress you like. Then hop to a dollar store and buy a head band with a giant flower. Michael’s should have good ribbons AND flowers and if you use that 40% coupon, you are in luck! Then before you even sew, just attach them together with pins to see if you get the ‘look’ you are after. Then throw in some stitches. Voila!

I highly doubt your flower plus ribbon cost will be more than $20-$25. (That’s REALLY pushing it.) Not sure if you have Fabricland where you are but they are having a 50% off sale on most of their decorative items!!!

@helenberrycrunch: I was going to suggest this!

Lots of dance stores will have cute little dresses of this variety, so definitely check that out as an option.

@Sasha2011: That exact ribbon is actual sold at Michaels. I bought it for some of my wedding projects 🙂

This “tutu dress” is actually no sew. SUPER easy. I make them for my nieces, and I have a friend with 2 little girls who makes them all the time. VERY easy. I promise. youtube has a lot of tutorials on how to do them.

@SHERREEJASON: If you want to wait a couple days (I’m out of town!) I can make that when I get home and give you a step by step!
