Aww poor gal, you sound miserable! Try to take care of yourself and give yourself a sick day or two off if you can. That always seems to make my colds ten times worse when I try to pretend I am better and work WAY before I actually should.

ugh, I feel ya!

A terrible flu ruined the last 2 weeks of my life INCLUDING a weekend away with my fiance! And to make it worse, I had a sinus infection, like, a month ago.

I really do think the constant weather changes have something to do with it, but that’s just MHO.

If you’re getting sick really often though and tired of it, I’d suggest having your dr. do some blood work just to check and see if everything’s normal. Have him/her check to see if you might need any type of specific vitamen or supplement to boost your immune system.

I had this done back in 2005 when I had HORRIBLE mono for 6 weeks (and constantly got colds and flus all the time). My doc told me what I was “low” on so I started taking a few different vitamens and I swear to you I wasn’t sick for FOUR YEARS.

Now of course my body is changing and I’m older and have been getting sick a little more often again so I had blood work done again and am starting a new vitamen regimen! I am very excited to get HEALTHY again!

I totally understand where you’re coming from! I’ve had a flu-like illness for five months now 🙁 It’s the worst! I hope we both feel better soon!!

Okay, you and I must be sick twins!! Two weeks ago I had stuffy nose, runny nose, sore throat, fever and cough. After a week I went on antibiotics. Then, two days before my antibiotics finish, I GOT THE SAME COLD! I ran out of antibiotics yesterday and since then it has progressed to the same fever, cough, runny nose, sore throat, etc, etc.

It. Sucks.

@happyface:  They totally did… for the first 5 days. Day one of antibiotics and no cough was left. Day two and the runny nose was gone too! Day 6 I had a mild runny nose and day 7 I was right back to where I was before I took the antibiotics. Apparently what I have is viral and it just happens to keep becoming an infection. As a result, I am taking antibiotics to get rid of the infection, but that won’t keep away the virus that starts the infection.

It’s a friggen cycle of DOOM!

@happyface:  Did you go to the doctor yet? Get some drugs of not-death? 😛
