Aw, don’t beat yourself up so much. It sucks everything that’s happened to you lately – who could blame you for not losing weight with all that stress? I’m sure you are going to look beautiful. I’m sure your Fiance loves the way you look now and is pleased he gets to show off his bride to be in your e-pics. Try to focus on the moment – no one is going to look at your pictures and think about your weight, they’re going to think about how happy you look.

If it makes you feel better I was totally hung over during my e-pics and couldn’t bring myself to get dressed up. I ended up just throwing on jeans and a shirt and I didn’t do anything to my hair. i LOVE how my pics turned out!

@xshellx2003:  talk to your photographer about your concerns asap.  the photog can work with angles etc.  Also – re: weight loss – if you really want to start making changes, head to the fitness/wellness boards.  You will get a ton of support.  Eating right does not have to be expensive.  I had to make some seriously changes in prep for my wedding and eating real, unprocessed foods is actually cheaper than buying unhealthy options.  Don’t let a tight budget be an excuse for why you don’t change what you eat.  You can do it!!!

@xshellx2003: hey i’ve missed you around here, girl!!! please don’t beat yourself up over this! we’re getting our pics taken on friday (we’re also traveling to take them) and i’m getting my hair done this afternoon… i’m sure a fresh cut & color will help wash away the funk you’re in. as far as outfits, just wear things you feel great in! i’ve got 3 dresses – 1 black with a red peacoat and black tights and heels, 1 neutral dress with black leggings, boots, and a sweater, and 1 bright dress with bare legs and combat boots (i guess i’m just more comfy in dresses than jeans!). i’m switching up my hair in between outfits too for some variation. just try not to let it all bog you down.

@xshellx2003:

I know how you feel, seriously. I look at my Save-The-Date Cards and think “OMG, EVERYONE IS LOOKING AT MY DOUBLE CHIN AND BELLY”, but they aren’t.

You could get a cute little jacket to go on over like a turtleneck. I have one that sort of billows out over my stomach so it just looks smooth and stylish. I stay away from anything striped and most stretch jersey – way too clingy. You could wear one of those babydoll shirts but put a belt on at your waist. It shows off a tiny waist while not clinging to a round belly. If you wear nice trousers they will flow away from your legs and create a nice smooth line too.

Don’t beat yourself up, embrace the beautiful person that you are!

Women are beautiful in ALL shapes, sizes and colours.  I don’t know exactly how “overweight” you *think* are, but that does not mean you can’t, and won’t look awesome!  Do you have a good gf who dresses like a superstar?  Get a friend to go shopping with you.  OR, even better, do you have a friend of a smiliar size?  I’m sure a friend would love to help you raid her closet to find something smoking hot for you to wear!

Go stand in front of a full mirror and take a look at yourself.  REALLY take a look.  Find something about yourself that is beautiful and sexy.  Focus on that one part, and make it a focal point in at least a few pictures so that you KNOW you’re going to look amazing.

I’m sure if you give us an idea of your body type, we can make suggestions for an outfit that will really boost your favourite bits, and help melt away the bits you’re not so chuffed about.

When i am reading your story, i feel so sad and asking myself the question why we women, are sometime our own worst enemy? At the same time i can relate with you. I hate looking at pictures of myself, because there is always something wrong. Due to a neurological illness i lost 11 kg and i look really skinny, because i am tall. When i am outside people ask me if have a eating disorder. I really hate looking like this, but it is the way i am right now.sI am trying to find word that will make you feel better, but we all know once something like that sticks in your head, it stays. The only one that can make you feel better is you. Try to focus on the things that you don’t hate right now, like a really good hair due or your beautiful eyes. You will see that when you are out of this feeling, the world seems so much brighter.

Love
