I really love this ring from Moissaniteco.com, but of course I am worried I won’t like it in person, or that maybe I should go with something more simple. I want it with a cushion cut moissanite stone.
If we didn’t go with this ring we’d go with a plain band trellis set cushion cut also in white gold. I am really piicky about having a band that sits flush, so that is why I like the antique band, because it has a matching band. I also want a band I can wear on it’s own…
I know I’m being picky. Anyways, what do you guys think? Class solitaire with a plain band, or the antique style ring below?

@nattiejeanne: Ohhhh…I love it! I’m changing careers in the next couple years, and I am wanting to upgrade my setting to something just like that, with engraving in an antique style. Go for it!

I prefer a plain shank, but really it is YOUR ring and has to appeal to YOUR sense of aesthetic 🙂

@Olivepepper: I like both, I guess I am having a hard time picking which one I like the MOST.
I’m thinking a plain band would be something that wouldn’t go out of style and is less risky, but I love the matching set for the antique looking one.

- Wedding: April 2013 - A court...
Second one, the first one looks like the side is just scratched.

@nattiejeanne: In all honesty, I don’t think you can really go wrong either way 🙂

i adore trellis settings. You could always pair it with an antique wedding band if you felt like combining both features

@nattiejeanne: I prefer the plain band! Which is surprising, I usually go with anything antique, but I like the plain one more, you could do so much with your wedding band, stacking if you like how it looks etc!

I really like the 2nd pic better – the flat edge band is different & modern…I don’t like the 1st one at all, actually…I’m sorry.

I prefer the antique ring.

I love the look of the antique ring!!! The second ring is a standard solitaire, beautiful, but if you want something a bit “different” or more unusual I’d get the first one, it’s strikingly gorgeous!
