so, guess what?! 2 days before my beauiful outdoor wedding I start my period. What the hell! I am not a regular person, but my body just had to choose this month to be regular? ughhhhh…oh well, there are worse things that could happen, right? Did this happen to anyone else? Please give me some reassurance that it doesn’t put a damper on things! =)
AND on my wedding day it’s supposed to rain=(

Boo! I can’t offer much reassurance but that is so unfair of mother nature to do that to you!!

UGH! I am sorry this had to happen! Maybe it will go away super early!!!! Positive thoughts! Regardless of this minor snafu you will still have a ball 🙂

Better to start two days before the big day than unexpectedly in the middle of the big day! Sorry bout your luck though. 🙁

I was actually thinkinga bout this scenario a few days ago! I feel for yah, not much you can do about it though, just enjoy the day 😀

Rotten luck…but at least you will be prepared for it and don’t risk the chance of an accident in your dress!
Your day will be wonderful – regardless of whether you have your period or if it happens to rain! And you will be so happy that it won’t even matter! Have a wonderful wedding 🙂

This confirms it. I am going to get on that Loestrin birth control after the baby is born because you can actually choose which days to have your cycle. I would hate to have my period on my wedding day!

Too Much Information coming up….Sometimes if I wear tampons 24/7 it seems to make the period shorter. Your wedding night would probably still be…red… but you could have some period-free honeymoon days.
I’ve never had sex while on the rag, but I think if I had to I could make an exception for the wedding night. Just put a towel or something down first, don’t think about it, avoid it in foreplay, and wash up promptly.
And on the plus side, if you’re trying to avoid pregnancy, you’re not fertile when on your period.

DianaMarie said it well. Better the devil you know 😉 I’d rather it happen now then to have a disaster on your nice white gown on the day.

Oh no! I am getting married on Sunday and according to my calculations I was meant to be due 2 or 3 days before the wedding which meant it would never be away in time. I was so angry. It turned out though that my period actually came early when it never does any other time! So now, thank goodness I won’t be on my period at my wedding.
As for you, im really sorry. Don’t let it get to you and make sure you still enjoy your day 🙂
You never know, it might go away as quick as it came if your lucky.

That really stinks!! That is definitely one of my big fears!! But I am sure it will all turn out great, drink an extra glass of wine and you’ll forget all about it 😉
