You have every right to be upset.  That’s infuriating.  If you have ppl coming in the morning of the 2nd, can you possibly do the rehearsal earlier in the day on the 2nd?

Our best man missed the rehearsal…..it’s not really a big deal! it’s so easy. You and the groom are the ones who have to konw what’s going on.

I would be upset, i mean you had everything planned and booked.

But like ejs4y8  said, its okay for the party to miss it (just sucks bc they planned on making it!!!)

It’s not a big deal in the scheme of things, but it is unprofessional, and IMO a major overisght on the part of your venue, so I voted no, you are not overreacting.

I would calmly explain the situation and how you have been inconvenienced.  I would tell them that I was disappointed and don’t think it is acceptable.

I’m going to have a small wedding party, and I don’t even think we are having a rehearsal, because everyone in the wedding party is from out of town and might not get in on time.  Don’t worry, you’ll be fine 🙂

As long as you and the groom can rehearse the wedding party is not really a big deal.  I was in a wedding this past weekend and we did a rehearsal 30 minutes before the wedding started.  No biggie.
