That is such a great insight 🙂 Totally agre – I feel like sometimes I get so carried away in the wedding hype that I forget what it’s all about (and what we’re all going to forget about anyway)! 🙂 I’m sure your dress is beautiful.
Also, you’re getting married the day after my birthday. Haha I will celebrate from afar!

Awww, I love your dress. I’ve seen some gorgeous LDS dresses, actually (I am like a Mormon magnet on Pinterest for some reason?).
Also everything here.

Those longer sleeves are so in right now. I love them in pictures but my friend had them on her dress and they weren’t quite as stunning as I was expecting!

I LOVE your dress! I think it’s simple, but by NO means “plain”! It’s elegant and absolutely beautiful. And actually, I kind of really like the fact that the front doesn’t quite hit the floor… hi-lo dresses are gaining in popularity, and while I don’t like the REALLY high fronts, I think yours is just high enough to show off a great pair of shoes, but still be classy! I probably would leave it like that, personally. 🙂

I am glad you feel better! I was actually shocked when you said you thought your dress was just simple and basic and I saw the picture! I have seen so many dresses like yours on the internet when I have been looking for dresses and not all of them were cheap(as in price)! Lace isn’t basic to me. It adds something to the dress and makes it look super fancy! I think the dress looks amazing on you and once you get the alterations you want done to it, I think you will love it even more! It looks really good the way it is though, especially with your hair up and the headband! So, so nice. Also remember that no one cares about the brand name on the day. Your fiance won’t either. He will be looking at you and thinking you are beautiful.
