I’m still in school, the last year of Interior design…
At the begining of the semester, myself and another girl were talking about our weddings that both happened over the summer… And a week later she got really sick and didn’t come to class for 2 weeks. Finally she came in today and on the break she said “So, how are your baby plans coming along?” and I said, nothing yet, but we test mid-month and politely asked how she was doing and she said “I’m pregnant”…
I’m really happy for her, but it was her first month trying and i’ve been trying for… forever it seems!!

I got pregnant in my first month trying, and I’m really scared to tell some people who have been trying a long time. It’s just unfair all around, I wish everyone was able to get pregnant easily if they want to and not be able to if they don’t want to!

Ugh. I’m so sorry! That sucks. It probably doesn’t help to hear it, but I’m sure she struggled with how to bring it up. I am on my 4th month trying, and it seems like everyone in my life is pregnant. You’re not alone!

I’m sorry. That really sucks. I feel this way as well, some of my friends are not pregnant after a few years. To be honest I know it’ll suck equally for me to tell them when we’re expecting if that happens before them. 🙁 At least your friend was kind enough to tell you herself, imagine how much worse it would have been for her to do the easy thing and let you find out via a third party. 🙁 yikes.
Love and baby dust! Hang in there!

@misty_bear: I’m sorry. Big hugs because I know what it feels like.
At least she was open and honest with you. Fingers crossed for you this month, and you have the support of every one on here 🙂

@misty_bear: *HUGS* Try not to let it get to you. My Darling Husband and I just started TTC (2 cycles in) and now couples all around us are popping up *accidently* expecting so I feel your pain.

I’m sorry it’s getting you down. Have you just been trying since your wedding date? If so, that was less than 3 months ago. Pretty much everyone in this thread so far has only been trying for a short time (myself included) and it’s perfectly normal to not get pregnant instantly! 🙂

Sigh, we’ve been trying for a year… this is our first on meds to help my cycle… be a little less long.
Thanks to you all! 🙂

I am also in school. We are on the opposite avoiding a pregnancy, but sometimes I wonder if it’s worth it because I don’t know if I am fertile or not. You should try charting.
