Though I would not recommend this for everyone, but high protein low/no carb/ no dairy diet will be your best friend.  If you go to newlifestylediet.com they have lots of shakes and puddings.  You could eat those for breakfast, lunch and desert.  At lunch, eat two cups of veggies with it.  Then at dinner, have 6oz of meat, and two cups of vegetables.  You will need to take a potassium and calcium supplement.  You will notice change right away.  Last summer, I lost 30lbs in about 3 months doing this diet.  I have kept it off as well.  When I got hungry, I just ate more veggies.  Extreme times call for extreme measures!  It is called the ideal protein diet.  The first week is hard, but after that, I promise, it is easy.  Just an idea!  Drink lots of water no matter what you do.  It works wonders.

I understand how you feel, I have 9 months before my wedding and I’ve GAINED weight when I promised myself I was going to lose – I found this video on the Live Well network specifically for your arms/back and shoulders and I’m starting tomorrow. You can do it – remember that every pound lost is a victory…

@Kim4995:  My advice is don’t hinge everything on a number. If it means a lot to you, yes absolultely do what you can this next two months to lose a little. I only say that because its obviously stressing you. BUT, don’t start arm curling and lifting. Weights tend to add bulk if you don’t lose the layer laying over the muscle. Thats MY problem. I’ve vowed not to start doing any real toning until I lose a little because I honestly think it will just make me look heavier. Muscle burns more fat and all that, but since you’re working with a limited time frame, I’d probably go with cardio and some very light weights a couple times a week.

Just enjoy your day. Like everyone always says, YOU see flaws others don’t and anything you don’t like is magnified in your own eyes. Don’t let it steal your joy on your wedding day!

Remember: weight loss is mainly about diet, not exercise. If you are carrying around extra weight, it wont matter that much if you tone up, because you wont be able to see it.

My advice to you: eat healthy, do cardio, and try not to stress much before your big day. It is such a wonderful time in your life, try not to let weight worries overshadow what you are really preparing for: a happy and loving marriage.

i did the atkins diet for 2 months and lost 32 lbs. i eat nothing but meat cheese lettace (green veggies like broccoli, spinach… then also coliflower* spelling?) and eggs. then drank atkins shakes. the diet is boring but you know what you can eat and dont have to count points… and it works. you should loose i think it says up to 15lbs in the first 2 weeks.when around the house dance around to music while cleaning (my favorite thing to do lol) and go out dancing. its fun and cardio all in one. try not to stress, you will look beautiful no matter if you loose the inches or not.

Honestly I was getting so stressed out about losing weight that I gained.. and so I’ve decided that I need to just accept it and that I’m not going to be at my ideal body weight for my wedding but that someday I will and that my fiance asked me to marry him at this weight so he clearly loves me no matter what size I am and that’s all that matter.. In addition I’m not sure they’d be able to alter my dress anymore given it’s so close to the wedding.. Not much help am i? lol
