I’ve been trying to figure this out all day, and have finally given up and decided to turn to you bees.
Can someone please give me the names of a few fonts that look good paired with the popular albemarle swash? This font will be used on the body of my invites, with the swash as an accent font. I’ve been trying to finish up my invites for a while now.
I’m technologically challenged and know nothing about fonts- all I know is that it is supposed to look good with a simple, sans-serif font- but I can’t find one that looks right!

I used Cambria w/albemarle swash see pics below. Hope this helps. I had a hard time too, but like the clean sharp Cambria w/the swirly font, LOL

I used Harrington on my invite… I don’t have a picture at work, but I’ll try and post one tonight or tomorrow for you.

Times New Roman, Courier, or anything like that should work fine with it.

The Cambria looks great, but if you don’t like it you could try dafont.com
I get all of my fonts there because they are free, and are super easy to install. Here is a link to their Sans-Serif fonts: http://www.dafont.com/theme.php?cat=501
To download and install, right click the “download” button. Then, save it to your desktop. (It will be a compressed/zipped folder) Right click the folder when it’s done saving, and click “extract all”. Save that to the desktop. Then go to your control panel. Find the “Fonts” folder. Open it, and drag the font file (either ‘True Type’ or ‘Open Face’) into the fonts folder. Close everything out, and then open Word or whatever program you are using. You sould see it in the list with all the other fonts. I hope this helps, and pm me if you have any questions!

I would try a serif font, like the one irishbride2be posted.

I used Perpetua with my swirly fonts. It’s not Ambermarle, but it’s similar:

some sort of serif font would be a good pairing. i uses Archer (Book & Bold) in combo with my my script font but I think it’s a pay one. Maybe Museo? I believe that’s free.
