Yup.  They get an invite.  It helps you to track your numbers (and meal choices if you have them) and it’s a nice keepsake for them.

Yes – you send the wedding party invitations.  You also should send your family invitations (even though they know they are invited).

Yes, they’ll be super excited to see them and some might want the momento (plus the meal count tracking).

Yes – I always considered the invitations I get from my brides (when I’m their bridesmaid) as a memento!

I agree with above.  We sent them to both of our parents as well as our wedding party.  Especially if you slaved over DIY invites, it’s nice to send them to people who might actually hang onto them.

ETA – I also actually included two reply cards in their invites, as a couple people mentioned they wouldn’t be returning the reply card because they wanted to keep the invitation in its entirety.  This way they get one to keep, and we get one for count/meal selection purposes, and maybe for our scrapbook.
