It’s your wedding, rock tulle if you want to!

But if you don’t want a huge dress, definitely one of the short tulle dresses posted here would be amazing!!!

Love your title by the way haha

I am totally laughing from your post title, love it.

I am also a tool for tulle and not a traditional girlie-girl. Your wedding day is the only time you get to really go for it. While I think the venue should inform your style, at the end of the day you should have a dress that makes you really happy.

I adore the poof! It’s the one time you can get away with such a dress, so why not?

    @Quickiebee:

LOL I really like your progression.

I say do the big wedding gown. You’ll never get that chance again (hopefully… lol)

The knee-length suggestions are really good though. Either way!

    I completely agree with jenilynevette!

I am getting married at city hall and following it with a nice family dnner at a restaurant… I started looking at simple mermaid gowns until I also fell in love with tulle! Like the sales lady told me, it’s the only time in your life when you are going to be able to wear a big princess dress! Plus, you’ll have the photos forever, so wear what you want and enjoy it!

    This is my dress (pre-alterations)….

It’s your day! You should wear exactly what you feel best in. And regardless of how fancy/not-fancy your wedding may be – it’s still a wedding and you have every reason to dress like a princess!

Girl, go for it!  I think the tulle dress at the BBQ is totally cheeky/playful/charming.

    Don’t compromise! Go for it!

I was convinced I was going to wear a mermaid gown, and I hated all things lace and tulle. After trying a few dresses on, I am ALL ABOUT the A-line or modified ballgowns and cannot get ENOUGH.

Think of it this way- those short dresses? You could wear those to pretty much ANY nice anniversary dinner that you and your hubs go on. But a big, tulle skirt?

WHEN will you have another opportunity to wear something like that?

It’s your wedding! I say- DO IT 🙂 But I am a sucker for tulle too!! I LOVE IT! Have you tried it on yet? I would see how you feel IN it.

When I first started looking, I was in LOVE with lace. But then I tried it on and lace was not my thing. Now, I’m wearing a dropped waist a-line with frilly tulle-like bottom 🙂

I agree that you should wear whatever makes you happy. BUT, I kinda really love those tea length tulle dresses PP have shown. I saw GO FOR THE TULLE!

I am also a complete fool for tulle! I really love the idea of contrast as well, an elegant tulle ballgown in a laid back setting seems like the perfect opportunity for awesome, quirky and high fashion photos! Go for it! <3

@Quickiebee:  LOL at your progression — you did the same thing I did!  First it was something short and casual, then I thought something long and flowy, and thennn I ended up with a ruffle tulle ballgown.  It’s still fun and flirty, but it’s not exactly what I had in mind for an elopement dress haha.  But you know what?  I love it and I don’t regret my decision at all 🙂
