I thought I would post here and I wonder if anyone else feels the same way?? Right now I DEF need to lose weight, which I am working on ( need to drop a size or 2). But my FAVORITE size is a 12/14! I rock that like NO other and I have never had any men complain. I constantly surprised myself with the type of guys I attracted because society would have you think if you’re not a size 2 (i.e. 0 nowadays… ), you MUST lose weight.
I just wanted to throw this out there. 🙂

Today’s definitions of “thick” are seriously messed up! I consider girls who are size 6 to be “skinny minnies”, all the while they are making size “double zero”. What in the world?!
Right now I’m a 10-12, and if I could get back down to my size 8 jeans I would feel absolutely PERFECT. An 8 for me is about 140 lbs, and I honestly can’t imagine weighing less than that at my height (I’m just under 5’4″) and still looking good.
Having a little bit of curves is wonderful, and every woman should embrace them.

When i drop a few sizes and am back to a 10-12 i will be thrilled! No one thought I was that size, but it looks different on everyone. I look anorexic at a size 8, so I’d never want to be that size, so i must look like i was in the holocaust as a size 0……I’ll never be a size 0, and i’m happy with that!

I’m usually somewhere around a size 8 or 10. I’d love to be back down to 140 lbs (I’m 5’7). I’m around 151 right now, so I’m trying to get back there and in my size 8s!

I think that’s great! Most women have that healthy point, and it’s ridiculous when Hollywood or the media pegs it to one size. That’s just not realistic.
On me, for instance, a 14 would look ridiculous – because I have teeny tiny bones and I’m 5′! But on some women anything lower looks almost emaciated. So it just depends on what’s healthy for you. Self esteem is definitely something to be proud of!

Good for you!!!!
I was VERY thin most of my life and a few years ago I gained a lot of weight – two or three dress sizes. I went from a 4/6 to a 10/12. Now I work in an industry that is very focused on appearance and I know full well that most of my colleagues thought I was fat. I know that is crazy b/c a 10 is normal size, not big. But I got all the “oh, but you dress so well for your body” comments.
But you know what? I thought I looked amazing. I felt amazing. I felt sexy!
Now I have lost the weight – wasn’t really trying to, just a hormonal thing which is why i gained the weight and I kind of miss it! I am heathier now of course but I thought I looked great curvy!
