Sorry for the late response, ladies! I’m really not keen on the idea of making a veil and I don’t know of anyone who would. And, sadly, my friends won’t lend me their veils. Next to their dress, it’s their most prized possession, it seems. I’ve favorited some head-pieces on etsy, though. Still, the ones I really like are close to $300.00. Oh well.

I cannot for the life of me remember the veil website where they sell viels for cheap but I am sure if you google cheap veils, it might come up. Anyway, I don’t think you should let a veil ruin your planning. If you truely don’t want to DIY the veil, keep searching. You will find one you love in a prcie you can feel good about.

@BetterSherm: I’m really surprised at that! I was offered 4-5 veils – my sister, cousins, friends, while my mom was insisting she would make one for me (which is what we did in the end). Ask your relatives?

If you saved so much on your dress, then treat yourself to a pretty veil 🙂 True its just for an hour, but pictures last a lifetime.
