@sofialovesmikey:  I’m too fat for my wedding too. I’ve had lots of time to lose weight and I haven’t. I hate that I have been so lazy. Now I only have a year left rather than the two that I planned. Le sigh.

I would suggest 30 Day Shred. It will help you slim down a bit.

@MrsRight:  I actually prefer Ripped in 30 but both are good. I am being a lot more diligent this time. I get impatient with how long it takes for results to show and then I feel like it’s not doing anything anyway…so might as well have a cookie! Bad cycle. However, I am breaking it this time. I’m determined. I hope a year is enough time 🙁

@sofialovesmikey:

Cut all carbs (with the exception of veggies.)  Seriously you can lose a good amount in 3 weeks if you stick to high protein and veggies, lots of water.  Cut out all bread, pasta, rice, potatoes, soda, juice, etc.  And if you think of it as being healthier, not a “diet” its much easier to stick to.  Start researching all the crap that goes in to processed food, you probably wont want to eat it after that anyway.  For example, a McDonalds burger is like 20% actual meat and the rest is pink slime and other chemically created “beef.”  Disgusting!  And if you add cardio everyday, like some PP’s said, you will not only drop lbs, but feel better about yourself.  Even brisk walking on your treadmill is super beneficial.  You can do it!  🙂

@MrsPanda99:  I haven’t heard of that one! Who does it? I’ll have to look it up.

I’ve tried Insanity (which was just a little too spastic for me) in additiona to usual workouts (gym time, classes, running, etc.) The 30 Day Shred has given me the best results so far. But I’ve fallen into the same trap as you!! My wedding’s in 5 weeks and I started really working out hard about a month ago when I was getting ready for my first dress fitting. I saw some awesome results and was so super stoked. But now I’m bored! I don’t wanna do the videos anymore cuz they’re so predictable now. Plus, I’m super busy and stressed with the wedding just around the corner so the only thing I wanna do is drink wine and eat carbs. It’s a downhill slide. i need some major motivation! Maybe switching to that Ripped in 30 will help!

@MrsRight:  Jillian does it! I have 5 of her videos so I rotate. It isn’t how you are “supposed to” but I feel the best exercise is the exercise you actually do. If I rotate each week and it keeps me actually doing it, then I am happy. Her workouts are always challenging and they are short. There are no excuses not to do them…but I find them anyway 😛

@FutureMrsJohnston:  +1.

Cut out carbs – bread, pasta, sugar (anything with sugar, even fruit – check all labels), alcohol, starchy vegetables (potatoes, carrots, etc) as well as any protein that’s not lean (stick to eggs, grilled chicken and lean meat cuts, low fat dairy, etc).  You can drop a serious amount of weight in 3 weeks and it’s not unhealthy.  Google “south beach diet phase 1” for food lists.  If you really want to make a difference, this is the most effective way in a short amount of time.

Either way, you will look beautiful.  All brides are radiant on their wedding day, and your husband will love how you look because it’s you.  Good luck!

@sofialovesmikey:  Aw honey I am so sorry you’re feeling this way.  I think I can speak for all women when I say we’ve all felt less than confident with our appearance at one time or another.  Please don’t let your weight get in the way of celebrating your love for your fiance.  You are dressing up because it’s a special occassion, not a fashion show.  Everyone close to you loves you for you and they just want to see your radiant smile on your wedding day.  Hugs.  I hope you feel better and have the wedding!!

The evil battle with food isn’t pretty, thats for sure. And I think every women suffers from it.

Three weeks is a good amount of time to lose at least 5 pounds if not more and while it wont be huge it will make you feel a lot better.  Throw out all junk food in the house. Don’t laugh, but when I feel really crappy I sit in front of the mirror and eat and then I dont wnat to eat anymore.  Also focus on wheat items, veggies and no carbs or sugars.

Its hard. I’m struggingly right now. I made a great advance and then last wed I triedon a pair of pants that fit only to find them snug again. Its like a never ending rollar coster ride and frankly I flippin hate it.

You will be lovely. Have confidence. You got this!
