Excuse my chub chub, hoping to lose some weight before the wedding. But I’m having an all outdoor wedding in Saratoga California. And if you have every been there, it’s freaking gorgeous, all redwood trees and creek. I’m having a very woodland wedding. I pictured myself in a little bit of lace and slim a line skirt full of tulle, that’s everything I pinned on Pinterest and the first dress (Patience) I tried on was exactly that. However, I kept trying on dresses because I’m super indecisive. I tried on this one dress (Ascher) that had rose laces and was a fit and flare and everybody loved it, I did too. They said it just suited my body better and that it was “the” one. And so I got it especially since I feel like Ascher has a more positive response and it looked more wedding-y and the Patience was more casual and not as form fitting. But when I got home, I just kept starring at the two pictures and kept finding things wrong with the first dress I bought. I called the bridal shop today and they said they’ll do the best they can to switch the dress since it was both a Maggie dress. I guess I’m not really looking for advice, more just to vent. Here’s a pic if anyone was curious… haha

The dress on the right looks perfect on you!

I don’t see any “chub chub” here at all. You’re rocking both dresses! I love the one on the left the most.

You made the right choice. The dress on the right doesn’t look bad on you, but the one you chose looks better. Why hide your curves in an a-line?
The only thing I’d suggest is maybe raising the skirt of the first dress a couple of inches so it flares out higher up – about where your thumbnail is when your hand is down by your sides in the photo. I think that’s how it’s supposed to look according to the model photos, but the dress has been made for someone like 6 foot tall for some reason.
You could also poof out the skirt more to show off the flowiness more.
P.S. What chub-chub?

I really love the dress on the left! (Also missing the chub-chub as well, you’re bod is flawless -_-)

I’m confused – did you buy the one on the right or the left?

You are rocking that left dress!

I bought the one on the left but the bridal store is trying to get it changed to the one on the right.
I know everyone loves the one on the left. Haha. But I just love the way the right one made me feel. I’m just going to leave it up to fate of the bridal shop!

I AM SO SICK OF PEOPLE PRESSURING WOMEN TO LOSE WEIGHT BEFORE A WEDDING!!!! You are thin and gorgeous don’t let anyone tell you you need to lose a pound. Why does every woman try to lose 20 pounds before a wedding I don’t get it? They should want to be healthy every day not just for a wedding day.
Dress wise I think you can do better. These are both meh.

I’m a yo-yo. I go through phases of gaining and losing weight and eating super healthy and working out like crazy to eating like crap. I just don’t feel like myself at this weight. But yes, I agree about being healthy every day!

I love the one on the left. I too have an hourglass and there’s just no point hiding it! My curves like to be caressed thank you very much.
Erm, chub chub not so much…

I really like the mermaid one. Go with the one that makes you feel better. Have people take a bunch of pictures of you in it. Even when you are not looking or posing. How you look in the mirror is different than in pictures. That might help decide.

I think u look gorgeous in both. Your body is slammin! U don’t need to lose weight what-so-ever, but if it makes u feel more comfortable then def do what u want (I’m in a similar boat, I’m the highest weight I’ve ever been and although people on the bee don’t notice it I don’t feel the best at my current weight.)
i digress, u need to get whatever dress u love. It sounds like u really love the right one. Go for it! Either way u’ll be a beautiful bride… 😄. Let us know what u choose…
