    I wouldn't, but it's your wedding.

As long as the attire is still appropriate for the weather,no one is going to look at your outfits and decoration and care that the calendar says spring.

What does the weather look like that weekend? If it’s going to be cool then I would think so!

Do whatever theme you want. It’ll be fine in either March or April.

Honestly I think April doesn’t quite make sense for your theme in my opinion.

You get one wedding — so have the dress you want, the bridesmaid dresses you want, and the theme you want.  I think you’re overthinking the April 1 thing.

    misslucy :  me too!!

OP i live in Toronto and we have had snow in April to… so it’s still ok. My ILs live in Montreal and they just had a snow storm like 3 days ago.. and I know the weather is crazy in the Maritimes in the “spring” too.. so I think it’s fine.

I agree that the ‘theme’ is more suited to a mid winter time, but April 1 in canada is rarely ‘spring’ LOL! So honestly, you’re probably fine. I would stop over thinking it 🙂

Make your theme “Getting Married” and “Stuff I Like!”  Problem solved.

Not everything has to be a “theme”.  Do you like it?  Yes.  Do your choices in any way negatively affect people’s comfort, health, or well-being?  No.  You’re good to go.

It all looks very wintery to me.  I feel like even March, while it does still snow and is still cold, is more springy than what you are going with the dresses.  But if you love it, just go with it and not worry about it.  I don’t think most guests spend a lot of time thinking about things like that.
