This is a super cute idea! I would say go to the craft store and buy a foam wreath and play around with different colors of navy and green. The foam is very forgiving so if it doesn’t look good you can always re-do it! (I hear the dollar store has flowers too but I have yet to look!)

The easiest way to make a wreath is to get your flowers and tape them into little bundles of 4-6.  Get a foam wreath form and stick the flowers in it, with a little hot glue at the base to hold them together.  If you did the flowers one by one it would take FOREVER and you’d get hot glue all over your fingers.

Another tip, go to your local dollar store to get flowers.  Bunched together, it’s okay if you use inexpensive ones for a full look.

Good luck!

Wow, those are pretty!

If you look at the one on the bottom right, you can actually see the foam.  I would use silk flowers and continue around a little bit more than these, and make them really full.

What a great idea!

I made a wreath. I just took a foam wreath from a dollar store and glued fake flowers onto it. I think it came out pretty 🙂

@vcabbyw….Thanks! No, I ended up getting my flowers from Michaels because I wanted a specific flower, but any flower would work. Yeah I did use hot glue. What I did was I first used the end of the flower bud to pop a hole in the foam. It sticks, but to make sure it really stayed I then pulled the flower out, filled the hole with hot glue and then put the flower in. With the hot glue I had no problem of flowers falling out and I made these like 6-7 months in advance. Good luck 🙂 Feel free to PM me if you have more questions!
