I am hoping to create my own invitations – but am not really sure where to start with getting images to use on them (as well as the save the dates). I’ve found a few sites that have lots of fonts – but not so much for clip art that isn’t the cheesy kind…

I found an invite that I loved the clipart, but did not like the invitations setup/style.
I scanned the image off the sample invitation and set up my own invitation.
I had adobe Imageready on my computer so I used it to make all the inserts and emblem for my invitations and printed them at home.
I purchased the pockets online.
Really bad phone camera pictures, but below is my final result.

@Ivlanie:That’s a good idea too – although I don’t want to order a bunch of samples either…i’ll take a look though. Thanks!

I want to design them myself – I’m just not sure where to find clipart and images to use.

Find a cute dingbat font. They are easier to use than clipart. dafont.com has a whole ‘dingbat’ section that has a TON of great ones that have all kinds of things from crowns to ‘swirls’ it’s great!
I also found a lot of fun ‘doodle’ handwriting and dingbat fonts here: http://kevinandamanda.com/fonts/fontsforpeas/
