I”m not sure how this stuff works, but what about using that ‘fake water’ stuff?  I don’t know if that would work for this, but it may.  Its usually in the floral section in craft stores.

Maybe the black and white beads are suspended in that clear gel stuff that looks like water?

@MissAsB- That’s what I’m thinking.  I don’t know what its called, but I see it all over in the craft stores.

Or you could use quick water which settles like a gel. They use it for fake flowers that make it look like real water, but it’s not and it’s thick

I think that you can use regular black and white beads that you find from a craft store, could be cheaper than that website too.

I would check at Hobby Lobby, Joann Fabrics, and Michaels.  They have all the crafty stuff!
