Lol I’m watching the replies this week too! So far I’ve two yes’s, a maybe from a cousin, unsure if he can come or not, and a friend moving herself on to the evening-only list as her son is having his First Communion that day. So far so good!

It’s really frustrating – I feel like ringing people up telling them to get on with it, I need to know how many of everything to rent and how much drink to buy!

I think in general the people we know aren’t used to RSVP cards so it might not be a great example.  But we got our first RSVP maybe a week after sending out the invitations but overall we sent out 25 invitations and only ever got about 11 or 12 of them back even after reminding everyone about three times to send them back.

@lox: We sent our invites out on a Saturday, and we received our first RSVP by the middle of the following week! My SIL put the card back in the mail as soon as she got it, bless her! However, most of our guests weren’t so prompt. You probably won’t have to wait long though. You might be surprised who you have to pester for replies though. I had to tell my mom to send hers in so many times. She always said, “Well you know I’m coming!” Of course, Mom, but getting the little card in the mail makes me happy.

I would say we had a pretty even trickle from the day we sent them out until our RSVP date–and then a larger amount right around the RSVP date. It’s so fun coming home and seeing those little envelopes in the mail 🙂
