@Jen51287:  Think there was a recent thread about this, but can’t seem to find it anyway.  I have been on/off (mostly on) BC for 12 years.  I got off last month, ovulated on day 24 and had my next period- so 36 days.  Totally depends on the person some people are fine right away.  Do you chart?   At 2-3 months I would prob see my GYNO plus if nothing else you could have a blood test done to be sure you are/are not preg.

I think anything with a lot of bleeding is probably your period. Implant bleeding I believe is usually just a bit of pink or brown spotting. But you could POAS to be sure.

Oldtimer here (over 50)

But saw the title of this post, and wanted to stop in for moral support…

Sounds like it could be your period.  As others say, my experience is that implantation is more spotty / light than what you’ve described.  Give it a day or two and you’ll probably have a much clearer indication of what is going on.

And yes, going off the pill can throw your hormones / cycle for a loop… can take a while for things to regulate again.

If you are ok with getting pregnant right now… then carry on… if not, you really need to find a method of BC that works for you.
