What is the difference between implantation bleeding or other bleeding?
I had an Ovidrel trigger shot on March 20th and today I am slightly spotting (not heavy or continuous).
I am CD 41 but only get my period on Provera.
Wondering what the spotting means?
Thank you for any replies. 🙂

I’m sorry I have no advice but FC for you that it is implantation bleeding!

Thank you. Still spotting today…
I read some literature from my clinic that said that bleeding can be common in early pregnancy.
I have my blood test Monday morning.
My fingers are crossed too, but I’m also cautiously optimistic in case it’s AF. 🙁

Unfortunatley, there seems to be no way to know until you get a BFP or AF. It’s only in hindsight that you can tell if it’s implantation or fAF showing up.

I agree, there is no way to really tell whether it is or isn’t until after the fact. I had it around 9DPO but mine was pretty heavy (3 days and like a period on BCP) so I thought it was my period. So there seemed to be no difference to me until I ended up farther along than I thought with an estimated conception date 9 days before the bleeding started. Usually it is just spotting though that goes away.

It could be the start of your period. I know you said you only get AF with provera. I also only get my period with provera. But in my experience, whenever I’m given the Ovridril trigger shot, I get my period naturally afterwards.
You probably won’t know until you get your blood test results back. Good luck!

Thank you ladies.
I spoke with my clinic this morning, they believe it is AF based on what I described. They said some women do experience IB though. They suggested I skip my bloodwork pregnancy test, test at home if I’m curious, and then come in CD3 to start cycle monitoring and Puregon again.
I guess I was just a little shocked and sad with the bleeding.
Thank you again for the replies. 🙂
