BearyLovely:  My IB was at 15 dpo, which was VERY late. 8 days is normal. I had very, very light red blood in the toilet. 3 days later I got a BFP.

It could be good news, but because it is brown, it may also be period spotting. IB is almost always red.

Best of luck!

BearyLovely:  Based on what I experienced, I would guess that it is not.  It seems like it might be a little early for it and being the it came right after BD, I would guess that is what the spotting is from.  However, usually it is brown or pink in color and not red because it is old blood, not new blood.

If you ovulated on the 13th then I think it could be…otherwise I think it might have been too early if you ovulated later.  I would guess maybe not only because it might have been too early.  But it’s always possible!

I had some but I don’t know when I ovulated, but based on the date they gave me mine was 9DPO and mine was bright red although I think it is normaly pink or brown.

BearyLovely:  Hmm. Yeah. I think that’s way too early for implantation bleeding. I had bright red implantation bleeding (PP is incorrect in saying it’s not red, it most definitely can be) on 7dpo and that’s pretty early. There’s a study I found that says that the average implantation day is 9dpo.

Spotting can happen from so many things, including from sex, that it’s impossible for us to say what’s causing yours.  Only about 30% of women actually experience implantation bleeding, so it’s possible that’s what it is, but it’s also very possible it’s not.  Implantation usually happens 7-10 DPO, so it would be on the early side of things, but again, still possible.

My own experience was one tiny spot of pink blood on the toilet paper when I wiped one day, and another single spot the next.  I was expecting AF and checking TP for signs or I would have totally missed it.
