I don’t know if you have had this experience, but it happened with both my dress and my veil. I had an idea of what i wanted when i went into the bridal shop “fitted bodice, asymmetrical rouching, ruffles, buttons down the back, strapless” and i came out an hour later with Allure 8705. Then after a few months on the bee i saw someone with an allure gown and a cathedral lenght veil and i fell in love. however, i ordered a fingertip length one because i thought that it was more “my style” and was playing it safe.
Well yesterday i went back to the bridal shop that had done my bustle and order the fingertip veil and tried my dress on. But they couldn’t locate my veil that i ordered! so in the meantime while they were searching, i found a cathedral lenght veil with a beaded border and tried it on. It was so over from that moment. I HAD to have it. now i have a crazy dramatic veil and i am in love. bought it right there without any second thoughts, except about the price. i could have just waited to get it on etsy.com but i couldn’t resist her.
anyone else go in to the shop and come out with something they didn’t intend to get or think they should have considered longer? ps this also happened with my dog, transferring college, switching majors, and joining the air force (all the best decisions of my life) ha
