@betyl:  I’ll bet in real life it’s stunning.  I love that it looks beautiful with either ring and even though it’s the same band, that whichever ring you choose to wear with it, gives you a different look.  And by the way, I think it looks incredible just worn alone as well.

Thanks everyone! I’ve been wearing my ring for the last week straight. It is 1 size smaller than my usual size but I thought it fit perfectly. No problems when I have the ring on but my knuckles are big, so I think I’m going to have it sized up. In summer, it’s be impossible to get it in or out.

Other than the size, it’s so comfy, and I’m loving it so much.

@betyl:  with a continuous design like that, you should have them stretch the ring rather than cutting and adding more gold. Maybe that was your plan but thought I would mention it anyway. I recently bought a ring with eight rows of milgrain and that is how my jeweler sized it up. They have an in-house bench which is good. My ring is thick as well as wide. This is it prior to stretching – it was big on my pinkie, it now fits on my ring finger. I think they went up half a size.

@katebluestone: Thanks a lot for this information! I had no clue how they sized up rings, but I thought it’d be stretched too. I’ll contact the jeweler.

Thank you very much dear ladies! :-)) I’d never seen my mom’s original wedding band because she had to sell it to have some cash during hard times. But I’ve seen my dad’s, it was almost exactly the same as my new ring. I immediately fell in love with this style. 

I left my ring almost 10 days ago with the jeweller to have it resized. (I DO MISS IT). He said he’ll order a size bigger and replace it.
