I have a relatively short engagement (6 months) and live in place with no wedding shops. The first time I went shopping (with my mom) I fell in love with a dress that was the complete opposite of what I thought I wanted. I liked the way it fit and I felt very bridal in it. The dress was very reasonably priced and did not need any alterations so I bought it that day and it’s now at my mom’s house. I really like the dress but I wonder if I was too hasty. What do you think of it? Is it special enough?

very pretty! is there beading under the bust? i can’t tell from the pic, but if there isn’t you could add a belt/rhinestone sash.
it looks great on you and i love the skirt!

I LOVE it! I think it is gorgeous! you look so beautiful! I love chiffon! My dress had a chiffon overlay 🙂
Also, I had similar situation as you (bought dress quickly) and i kept doubting it. i was never 100% sure until the wedding day when i put it on and looked in the mirror! I then knew that it was perfect and i was 100% sure about it 🙂
Good luck! you look beautiful

I think it looks great on you. Yes, I would say your purchase was hasty, but in this case it worked out fine. I think your dress needs just a bit more punch with a jeweled broach, and then it will be perfect.

It’s so pretty!!! And you look so happy to be wearing it :).
I would suggest… stop looking. Especially since the dress wasn’t your “original” vision, imo it’d be easy to see a different dress that might had fit that “original” vision that you like better on paper than this dress… but clearly you like this one!
