No need to stress yourself out by overthinking it.  Wait until your period is supposed to come, then you can worry if you have to.  Don’t you wish you had a crystal ball sometimes?

You should be able to skip a day entirely and take the pill the next day with the next pill, and still be covered. The papers inside the package say you don’t need back up unless you miss 2 pills in one month. Believe me, I’ve read them from cover to cover. (This is for a combo pill, not progesterin only).

Is it possible you feel crappy from the drinking? I know if I drink alot, the next day I feel sore, especially in the chest/neck area, for some reason. Also you could be PMSing. I wouldn’t worry unless your period is late next week. But I know how these irrational fears get stuck in your brain and won’t go away 🙁

Also, not that one person’s story means it’s always true, but our honeymoon had a twelve hour time difference, so my timing on the pill was WAY messed up, and we obviously did a lot that could get me pregnant, and there was no problem.

I’m thinking you are either sick or PMSing.  As others have said you should be covered unless you miss 2 pills in a pill pack.

Don’t worry about drinking this early (if you are pregnant), the placenta isn’t formed for 6 weeks. Many people have surpraise pregnancies and their babies turn out fine.

It would be too early to take a pregnancy test anyway…

Wait until you at least formally miss a period before you test, your hormones could just be in a tizzy.

A test wouldn’t be accurate this early. TRUST ME. I know from experience. I was about to start a new diet, but we’d been TTC, so I took a test before starting the diet to make sure I wasn’t pregnant. It was 5 days before the expected date of my period (which tests claim 70% accuracy), and I tested negative.

I started the diet, and at the end of the week, I realized I was two days late. Took another pregnancy test and tested POSITIVE. So here I had been pregnant that whole week, but got a false negative by taking a test TOO SOON.

I also had some wine and a beer during TWW and everything is fine. All the doctors say don’t worry about it 🙂

Breath! I wouldn’t worry about it too much just yet. Wait for AF. Lots of pregnancy symptoms double as AF symptoms. You may not have noticed them before because you wern’t worried about it. Where now that you are consiously looking for signs you will notice things that you never took into account before.

you should be fine! if your cycle is regular you would have only ovulated a handful of days ago and the chances that your body/nipples would change that quickly seem unlikely…And taking one pill 12 hours late is not supposed to impact you at all

some months can be worse than others while on birth control (meaning sore breasts, heavier flow, more cramps, etc.), I have taken the pill at different times and still after 11 years not managed to end up pregnant…so don’t worry
