As someone who suffers from a chronic illness I feel your pain. I am praying that this is just a passing thing and that next month you are completely better. Hugs*

If you ever need to vent PM me. I know what you are going thru. I hope they find the right meds to control your symptoms. I have suffered 10 years with mine. The right meds help tremendously.

There is nothing worse than having something wrong with your health. BUT even if it’s something chronic there are lots of ways to manage it. A lot of stuff can be controlled with exercise and diet, in addition to some medication if necessary. Check with your doctor about doing yoga-it calms your mind and will actually help your pain, if you do have arthritis.

I know you are worried right now but you don’t really have any control. So take a deep breath, let it out and know that whatever it turns out to be (if anything) you will be ready to take it on and deal with it. Take care and I hope you feel better-no matter what.

@karatechick27: Definitely do it.  It’s changed my whole life.  I have what is basically osteoarthritis in my right knee (runner’s knee, in other words) and it’s pretty bad but I take pain medication along with the yoga and I’m able to keep it strong and flexible.  I think it can only help you, whatever the situation turns out to be.  Check it out and good luck:)

I was diagnosed with RA at 32.  It sucks sometimes, but when we get my meds just right, I feel like I used to.  And other times, like now, I can get away without meds and be okay.  Try not to worry until you go back for your next appt, there really are a bunch of things that have similar symtoms.  If you want to chat, feel free to PM me.

Did they test for thyroid problems?

Do you have a lot of ticks in your area? Could it be lyme disease?
