I’m so sorry!! If it helps, everyone I know who has ever lost their job finds something that is a much better fit…I’m sure you’ll have the same luck, and in the end it will be for the best 🙂

What?!

((((Hugs)))

So sorry….

When Fiance got laid off in 2009 we thought that it was the “end of the world”……

Turns out it was one of the best things that ever happened to us.

He now has a much better job.

That he LOVES.

Hang in there.

i am so so sorry. with the economy the way it is, many people are in the same boat. through no fault of their own. i really wish you all the best and hope you find something even better!

First of all, I love the title of this post.  You sound like my kind of woman.  This really does suck but at least you aren’t right around the corner from your wedding.  You have a while to bounce back before you have to do some heavy spending on your day.  Think of this as a well deserved break followed by an opportunity to try something new and maybe even push yourself to something greater. Who knows, you may find the dream job you never knew you wanted and work for a company that is better.  Often you don’t realize how unhappy you are at your job until you are looking back on it from somewhere else.  Open a bottle of wine and have yourself a nice long bubble bath.  Then polish your resume up…..okay maybe after the wine wears off lol.

WTF?  What a bunch of turds.  There better be a cocktail in your hand.

To Sara_Tiara’s point, I don’t know ANYBODY who regrets losing their job.  It usually does end up being the most fabulous blessing!  🙂

*high five to sleeping in for a bit*

oh, and a good story that might cheer you up:

Darling Husband got laid off a few months after we got married and bought our first home! It ended up prompting us to looking into moving and getting better jobs. I now LOVE my job, we live in a bigger city, have a better standard of living, make TONS more money and are so much happier! Him lossing his job was an amazing thing for us. We are in a so much better place because of it!!

@MrsJoyful80:  Agreed. when my Fiance got laid off he was really stressed and upset about it. He had been with that place for 11 years. Ever since we’ve been together he had been talking about getting a different job and the one thing holding him back was all the vacation time etc that he had built up at this place. Now he has a job that he’s 10X more happier at than he was before.

@MmeSilverBullet:  So sorry to hear this. I’m hoping something wonderful comes your way!!!
