I know you can’t always plan these things and nature has it’s own way, so saying I want to get pregnant in October so I can have a summer baby, or I want to get pregnant after my next promotion/pay rise/job move isn’t always practical.
However, if you were calling the shots, when would you get pregnant and why?
(For me I’d love to be about 6 months pregnant at Christmas, I just imagine myself on Xmas day with a cute bump (and getting out of the usual chores!hehe!) then if I had the baby in March ish time, the summer would be lovely with a new born, more chance to get out and about.)

September. That way I am not super huge for holiday pictures and I have the baby before it gets too hot. ((SO and I are not trying now))

As long as the last trimester isn’t in the summer I think I would be good. My SIL was majorly pregnant in the summer and it was pretty miserable for her :/

june or july one year after our wedding – so I wouldn’t be in the 3rd trimester during the hot summer and so our kid would have his/her birthday during the school year. Cus every kid loves to bring cupcakes to school for his/her birthday! I remember my sisters and my friends with summer birthdays were sad they never got that.

The month of our wedding–August. Maybe even before the wedding. We will start having unprotected sex in maybe July in hope that we get pregnant and I can deliverion may. I graduate law school in may and would like some time before working to be with the baby. That would give me 4 months with the baby. Also, I have free health care while in law school which I’d like to take advantage of.

Right now. Seriously. I don’t want a December or even November baby. Too many birthdays/holidays during those months. And we don’t want to wait another 4-5 months to start TTC. Also, we are so very ready to start this family! We finally have our house, our careers, our stability, and an extra room that is begging to be filled. lol

Well Fiance and I play to start TTC shortly after the wedding. Ideally I would like to get pregnant by June or July. I concieved in June with my first and the timeline was nice, especially since it was cold outside for the last half of my pregnancy. And my son was born in the begining of spring, the day we brought him home was actually the first warm day of the year 🙂

I have this vision of a September baby so trying and succeeding in December would be great, but Dec. of 2014 or 2015 ideally so we have plenty of time to wait for that. But it’s fun to dream about. I’d also like a spring baby someday too. I’m such a crazy planner; nature will probably throw me a curve ball and laugh at me for trying to plan such things.

September, 2013. Almost a year after being married and then we’ll have a late Spring baby. Darling Husband is a middle school teacher and high school coach, so he only works part time in the summer (when I’d be on maternity leave) and we could learn the ropes and lean on each other together.

The moment that Darling Husband gets a job offer in his field, post graduation, we sign on a new home for our family, and we have a rental contract for our condo in place. In a perfect world, that would all happen within like, two weeks. In the actual world, once Darling Husband graduates and gets that first job, we’ll start trying. At the same time, we’ll likely get our condo ready to rent out. There will likely be a few months of lag time between him getting a job, us renting out the condo, and when we secure our future home. To be perfectly honest, I don’t give two shits what time of year it happens. Just ASAP.

In an ideal world, I would get pregnant with twin boys at 32 years old. If I could be even more specific, I would choose to get pregnant in August and have them in May, that way I woulnd’t have to be too pregnant in the hot weather.
