Hi everyone! I’m new here and could use some advice.
My fiance and I have been wanting a woodsy/foresty setting for our wedding – one with a lot of trees and greenery. We had originally planned to get married in the mountains in Southern Utah but given our wedding date (Feb 2021) and budget, it’s just not possible.
It would be more practical to have our wedding here in Southern California, preferably in the OC/IE/Riverside counties. We’ve been looking at Oak Canyon in Anaheim but I’d like to see if there are other similar options. Does anyone have any recommendations or suggestions?
Thank you all so much!

- Wedding: Malibou Lake Mountain Club
we had it at the Malibou Lake Mountain Club back in 2015. It was gorgeous!

Before I even saw the second half of your post, Oak Canyon is what I was going to say! A friend had her ceremony there and her reception at a restaurant in Fullerton. It was gorgeous! Mine was at a vineyard in Temecula, and some of the vineyards were more woodsy than others. Also I am not sure how far of a drive you are looking into and which area you’re in, but Big Bear could also be a good option! Although at that time of year it could be pretty snowy.

Honestly, I would look in the Big Bear or Mammoth area since you’d been planning a Utah wedding and they’red be snow that time of year.

I would check to see if there are any venues in Big Bear.

I was gonna say either Tahoe or Big Bear.
We’re getting married in Menifee/Temecula and there a lot of options there with the vineyards around.
