marissaduh :  we had it at the Malibou Lake Mountain Club back in 2015. It was gorgeous!

Before I even saw the second half of your post, Oak Canyon is what I was going to say! A friend had her ceremony there and her reception at a restaurant in Fullerton. It was gorgeous! Mine was at a vineyard in Temecula, and some of the vineyards were more woodsy than others. Also I am not sure how far of a drive you are looking into and which area you’re in, but Big Bear could also be a good option! Although at that time of year it could be pretty snowy.

marissaduh :  Honestly, I would look in the Big Bear or Mammoth area since you’d been planning a Utah wedding and they’red be snow that time of year.

I would check to see if there are any venues in Big Bear.

I was gonna say either Tahoe or Big Bear.

We’re getting married in Menifee/Temecula and there a lot of options there with the vineyards around.
