@KRutter0:  I would check out some all-inclusive type places. Hotel ballrooms are a great place to start. Also, if you aren’t attached to your date, some places might have discounts for Sundays/weekdays. My venues basic package included hors d’oeurves, meal, linens, champagne toast, wedding cake and floral centerpieces for $90 pp. Because we are having it on a Sunday, we are getting a 10% discount. Be straight up with the event coordinators you meet with that you are on a budget and would appreciate any advice they have to make something affordable for you. They’ve planned a lot more weddings than you have, so they’ve seen it all. Good luck!

Did you check out the Bolingbroke Mansion, too?

The Highlands Mansion is in Ft. Washington, and unfortunately they don’t list a price online, but it looks promising! http://www.highlandshistorical.org/rentals.html

I realize I’m not sure what sort of venue you’re looking for, so I’m trying to think of non-traditional places!
