Ghost stories or the ones that document paranormal activities FREAK ME OUT.

Haha that’s hilarious, Darling Husband would not let us watch The Strangers just now b/c he knew it would scare me!

I get the most scared from suspense and deranged alive/dead people trying to kill others. We just watched The Happening and it wasn’t that scary to me because the ‘villian’ was nature.

Yeah, paranoraml activities freak me out as well.  Scare the shit out of me especially the ones that are “based” on true stories.  I also have eyes that play tricks on me.  So when I see something that looks like it shouldn’t be, it weirds me out.  I have to rub my eyes, and I realize I wasn’t seeing it correctly.

cockroaches….you dont even have to go paranormal on me…just get one of those monsters anywhere near me and a stress induced heart attack is imminent.

I agree, things that could actually happen and involve crazy people.  And mainly when the victims are random (because I don’t think I’ve ever done anything to become a target).  Although Paranormal Activity freaked me out and I can’t imagine how much the second one will freak me out.  We watched the Strangers a couple of years ago and it scared both of us.

I’m actually not a fan of any sort of scary movie…believable or fake.

Several years ago I went to one of those haunted hayride/house/cornfield things. I was fine on the hayride and cornfield, but not the house! I freaked out about something in the beginning and one of the girls I was with said my name. The actors remembered it and were attacking me the rest of the time. A few years after that I went to one with my sorority and freaked out on the hayride because the actors were grabbing my feet. They even said in the beginning of the hayride not to touch the actors because they are not aloud to touch you, but for some reason they were grabbing me and another girl! It wasn’t so much that I was scared of the costumes and stuff…it was more that I was freaked out by a stranger touching me.

@MrsSaltWaterTaffy: Yes we were watching FX! I feel bad that M Night has lost his touch, but I honestly wasn’t that scared.

Also, the Crazies freaked us out pretty badly too.

@beekiss2: OMG. I am one that totally cannot sleep with my feet not being covered.  The thought of something grabbing me is too much to bear.  And I could have sworn when I was a girl that I saw a shadow person or something standing in the corner of my room EVERY NIGHT after I got my old uncle’s or cousin’s furniture.

My main fear is fireworks. When I was younger (like 7 or 8) my family and I were a the park for the forth of July. Some stupid teenager was playing with fireworks and threw it towards us. It exploded very close to my leg and I got burned (nothing HORRIBLE, but it left a scar). Ever since then, they kind of terrify me.

I’m also totally weirded out by carnies…

I hate being alone in the dark… I know I freak myself out but I always feel like there is somebody behind me.

Uh. I love horror movies, EXCEPT any one dealing with exorcism/possession. I couldn’t sleep for two weeks after watching The Exorcism of Emily Rose.

I don’t know why, because it’s not like I even put stock in possession- you think I’d be MUCH more scared by the invasion/breaking in ones, and yet… ack. Exorcism.
