Please tell me they are at least paying.  It doesn’t make it better but it more understandable.

@maybride2011: do you happen to be Asian, by any chance?  A friend of mine went through the same thing and they were having a Chinese banquet reception and the parents just took over everything bc they are trying to impress their friends.

But sorry, that sucks though…I would be so frustrated! 🙁

I would hope your vendors would not let them change anything since they aren’t on the contract

You should let your Fiance handle them, since they are his family.  They shouldnt be controlling your wedding this much

I don’t blame you for being frustrated! I would be too!! You’re so close though…only 2 more weeks. Try to call your vendors to confirm that everything is exactly the way YOU want it to be and instruct them that they are not to change ANYTHING unless they run it by you first. It doesn’t matter who is asking them to change it…they have to ask you first. That way, things won’t be done last minute and it won’t be too late to change it back.

@maybride2011: My Paki guy friends are still Mama’s boys, so I’m not surprised that your Fiance is not standing up to your Future In-Laws or see that it’s a problem.  I’m sorry they are takign over like that. 🙁
