Dress 1 by far ๐ I personally love the cap sleeves, so I would keep them. But if you really don’t like them then remove them.

the tank sleeveless look on dress 1 looks matronly when you aren’t at all. But dress 2 does nothing for your teency waist. I’d think there were a few other dresses that’d look more stunning on you.

@Jacqui90: I really thought I would like the cap sleeves, but it made the dress look sooooo matronly! I think cap sleeves are just not for me ๐
@Shkragoldfish: I should have explained this in my first post, but the sleeves on dress 1 would be much thinner than in the pic… and the v-neck would be wider, if that makes sense? There’s just too much fabric up top on the sample!

@SparkleBee2014: Okay, I like the sound of that better- just hard to picture. Is there a pic of another dress that has the top and straps you like for comparison? Spaghetti type straps would look nice and I’m not sure what it means to make the V wider- just as long as you don’t make it any deeper. but yeah- I agree that you don’t need the layer underneath going up past your underarm area almost to your shoulders.

I like the second dress because its different than the typical lace dress!
I figured everyone would vote #1 because lace is so popular right now, but be unique!!! You look gorgeous!!

@Shkragoldfish: I’m generally not a fan of spaghetti-type straps, they tend to dig into my shoulders. I was thinking straps like this:
http://www.allurebridals.com/products/_8825. The cups underneath the lace would definitely be smaller, since the sample dress is 2 sizes too big. It’s so hard to visualize when the sample isn’t your size!
@leahlou: Thanks!! I thought dress #2 was different too ๐ When I saw myself in the mirror I was like… WOW! But I thought I wanted lace… and now I’m so confused!

@SparkleBee2014: What if you had a lace veil? I think that’d be gorgeous with it. OR you could keep looking and find a happy medium! ๐

Two with s smaller belt. That big chunky belt is not flattering but the beautiful fabric & cut is.

The first dress made my jaw drop! Would the seamstress keep the scalloped lace edge on the sleeveless version?

@AllieBee12: I second this! Maybe a slight dip in the middle of the neckline? Not a dramatic sweetheart by any means (hello ta-tas!)
