The diamond in my ring is about that size, and I don’t think it’s too small at all (but maybe I’m biased). I’m not really into having a big diamond, and was actually more concerned about the band (I like a more interesting band), so that’s what he prioritized. If you like the ring then you should go for it! What you like and can afford are what matters, and there is no such thing as “too big” or “too small” when you take those into consideration.

@Cash000: Thanks! My wedding band matches the band of my engagement ring (but I don’t have any pics handy, right now). Both are from
Excel Diamonds.

You should give yourself a pat on the back for doing the smart thing and using your money towards school. That is what matters in the long run, not how big a diamond on your hand is. It’s a gorgeous ring. You have your priorities straight and I praise you for that. What would suck is having thousands and thousands of dollars of student loans/debt to pay off and walking around with a “big” diamond on your hand wouldn’t matter. It’s about the love you have between your fiance’ not the size of the diamond. If you value your education and putting your money towards it get whatever diamiond fits your budget!

OWw. I have been looking everywhere for nice settings online and haven’t found anything extraordinary. I like how your band is very delicate yet sturdy looking.

I love that setting, its beautiful!
Try James Allen! You can view the exact diamond you would be purchasing which is nice when you can’t physically go to a jeweler and look.

I think that is a really pretty ring! And it looks like it’s a serious sparkler too!

Sure, here are a couple that my Fiance took. It seems hard to get a picture that really captures how lovely it looks in person!

I still look at it and smile!
