My favorite simple gown was the one that Renee Zelwegger wore for her wedding to Kesney Chesney. Caroline Herrera designed it just for her, and it was made from unfussy, beach friendly tweed! More wedding gowns should be offered in different fabrics.

The movie was whatever, but I LOVE this dress from the Twilight movies:

Go for it! I almost chose a satin wedding dress simply because it was so soft!

I tried a rosa Clara one on and I had never felt more beautiful. Unfortunately it wasn’t in my price range!

I love simple dresses, and there are so many gorgeous ones posted in here! That Rosa Clara above me…holy crap!! I wanted to try some Rosa Claras, but I knew they would be out of my price range too. I ended up with the Theia Devon and I am so happy!! (it obviously needs to be altered still).

BeeDD :  have you looked at Theia dresses? Many Theia dresses are fairly simple, and I’ve seen a few with sweetheart necklines. The Bonnie (http://theiacouture.com/collections/bridal/products/bonnie?tag=lookbook) in particular is gorgeous!!

flip_flop :  That’s stunning! Unfortunately there don’t appear to be any stockists in the UK. I always have the option of Mom making me one though 🙂

BeeDD :  Ah I didn’t see the UK under your username. I did see this London stockist on their website though – http://www.lestroissoeurs.co.uk/. No idea how convenient that would be for you, but it’s closer than the US/Canada! But then again, I don’t see Theia listed on the shop’s actual website, so who knows what’s going on there. They might be able to sample in Theia dresses for you, maybe?

stephamelon :  That dress is breathtaking! Especially the train!  Hope you are able to find something similar in your price range!  Here here for simple dresses!  I would call them classic – not simple. I really love simple dresses with tulle too. 🙂

My dress was similarly simple, though a different style. Check out Justin Alexander, he has some beautiful simple dresses. This picture is from google, but is similar to my dress.

Pronovias has been designing some very beautiful simple dresses lately.

I love the simple look, but BF doesn’t like long-sleeves or sheath dresses, and I’m petite (like really really small frame and short) and I think simple dresses look much better on taller women lol. They make my small figure very obvious 🙁

Also I love #1!

I went with a plain satin gown and a rediculously oversized bow!
