Fiance brought up the idea of an upgrade for my original e-ring since he was no longer a doctoral student. He proposed with a 0.10ct e-ring that I am now using as my RHR and absolutely adore too, though!
I searched on etsy for a while, when in my etsy suggestions I saw this vintage OEC 1.86ct (2.06tcw) lovely in exactly my size! I was watching it for a few days and its price dropped $500 and Fiance purchased it for me! It is a i1 clarity and I can see inclusions, but the scientist in me loves the idea of them and that they are uniquely mine! So surprised to see loose diamonds of that size/clarity for sale on numerous sites for $6-10k (we paid under $2k)!
I’m just so happy with it though!

nikkiibee: It’s lovely and I’m glad that you found what you want and like. Sounds like a good price, mostly due to the clairty most likely. Some people don’t mind the inclusions whereas some others hate them and have to be eye clean. If it doesn’t bother you then I’d say be happy and proud ☺️.
