My FI’s dad passed away 10 days before we got engaged. My Fiance got to show his dad the ring and his dad gave his blessings for us. I want to do/have something in the wedding for him, as well as my grandma and grandpa. We are doing the star wars theme song for the introductions at the recepetion, but I am wanting to do something else as well. I was thinking their pictures or something. Any ideals?

We mentioned those who passed in our programs and there will be a prayer for them in the ceremony. Our rev. also suggested putting a picture of them somewhere to be displayed, but I figured the programs and prayer was enough.

Our officiant gave thanks to our parents during the ceremony.
We also made a donation to the hospital where DH’s father passed away. We had a candle with his picture and a frame saying we donated in his memory.
