I am recently engaged and just beginning to look for wedding dresses. I am a pretty picky shopper when it comes to clothes but I came across this dress on pinterest and I absolutely LOVE it! My only concern is that it is being sold on Etsy by a seller called “Lemandy”. I never thought I would consider buying a dress online (sight unseen) but I truly love this dress. Have any of you ever purchased from this seller or do you know of anyone who has? The reviews I read on the site were mostly positive but I am suspicious that there are only twenty-something reviews… Any advice or feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thank you 🙂

It looks like this seller is making replica dresses.
The original dress is located here.
This is generally a bad thing for Etsy ethics since everything is supposed to be hand-made, not copied from another company.
As a whole, none of their designs seem to be their own. Google image searches are pulling up a whole slew of designers & websites.
If having something unique and hand-made is important to you, I’d avoid this seller. If you just want a cheap knockoff, I guess there would be nothing harmful, except supporting “non-handmade” items on Etsy.

Thank you for your help! I definitely do not want to support someone who is copying another designer’s dresses without permission… I was suspicious of that but I am unfamiliar with etsy and the way it works.. you confirmed my doubts. I am hopeful that this dress is available in California as the REAL designer is in Australia… Keep you fingers crossed for me and thanks again!

@codygirl: In etsy can find items that is not copies and them are so unique that you can’t find them in any other place.

Lemandy is just another Chinese knock-off place. There are actually a few sellers on etsy that are basically the same thing as any other Chinese website. I considered them, but their feedback was a little off for me.
