I’d try to negotiate first.  If they have any business sense at all, they won’t want the bad reputation associated with a bunch of brides having booked dates only to be shocked at the price later.  

What the heck are they including in that price????

That’s crazy! I’d def. try to negotiate first. If they won’t budge and you can’t afford the new prices (I def. couldn’t!) then I’d start calling everywhere I could find asap to see if your wedding date is available. Good luck!

I would try to negotiate first. That’s pretty ridiculous. If they’re unwilling to budge, I would look around and yelp their asses.

I would call similar vendors and get their prices then go in to your vendor and try to negotiate…if they don’t budge I would cancel there…that is a ridiculous increase, and if they  have linens/plates etc why are they charging you?

That is totally INSANE…..

Holy crap!  There is no freaking way I would stick with that venue!  A 10% or even 25% increase, maybe, but not 50%  That’s insane!!  I say negotiate, and if you can’t get them to lower the price, bail.

I would negotiate. I don’t think it’s at all fair of them to add on these fees. It’s one thing if food prices go up but to just add usage fees for rooms is BS. 

I feel like because your contract isn’t detailed enough that it both plays in your favour and against. There’s nothing concerete saying what their pricing is currently!

If they’re unwilling to negotiate (an already booked customer! ridiculous!) then I would just walk and lose your deposit.
