So as I like to obsess about details…mainly in regards to my attire for the big day…I’m now wondering if I made the right shoe choice. Don’t get me wrong I love my shoes, but I’m worried about heel height changes.
Right now I have three pairs of shoes for my wedding day.1. Three inch purple satin heels for the ceremony2. Purple winter boots for outdoor pictures3. Sparkly purple converse for the reception
My dilemma is the height difference between my heels and the converse. My dress is lace and has a scalloped hem…I’m not sure if I want people stepping on it while I’m busting a move on the dance floor. I want to sell my dress after the wedding too, so I don’t want too much damage.
Should I just buy a pair of flats for the ceremony?
I’m also leaning towards flats because I want the seamstress to use the extra lace left after the hem to make sleeves. I’m 5’4″ so I’m assuming there is going to be a lot of fabric to play with.
Did any other ladies switch shoes? Was it a pain?
Do you know any sites that sell awesome purple flats and ship to Canada?
Here is my dress for reference
Here are my ceremony and reception shoes
And here are some flats that I think are pretty. The ones below are only $25!!! But maybe too informal
