Not that I went out of order on purpose.  It just happened

    Graduate shool

Move in with boyfriend at that time (bouhgt house with him)

    Work full time

    Go back to school

    flunk out of school

Go back to work full time

    Date men here and there

    Finally meet Mr. Right

    Plan wedding

However we did agree on a date though.

Not at all! Our relationship went:

(Me) Go to college (Him) Return to college for 2nd degree

    (him) graduate

    Move in together

    Get Engaged

    Buy puppy

    Get Married

    (me) Graduate

    haha we’re WAY off!

I clicked Other because I think we threw EVERY rule book out the window…

For us it went like this:

Decide we are meant for each other
    Move in together
    Start dating
    Decide wedding date
    Meet each other’s parents
    Go to college

    Eventually we will:
    Start career
    Buy a house

But as you can see, we don’t really follow traditional logic, so who knows how this will play out, LOL!

I wish I had more things to check off the list (especially since I’m always 30!)

    Graduate ugrad (both)

    Attend grad school (both)

Meet boy & make him fall madly in love with me 😉

    Start MORE grad school (both)

Undecided  You see there is no job or property ownership or anything in there!

Our timeline is weird because he’s eight years older and divorced. I suppose we’re automatically disqualified from “traditional,” haha. He went to undergrad, got a job/career, got a house, married the long term college gf, started grad school, and got divorced before I was even part of the picture. For me:

    Go to undergrad

    Meet SO

Complete undergrad (he completes grad school @ the same time)

    Career and money nonsense

    Engagement (sometime this year)

    Wedding 2011

    Move in together

Babies and houses and stuff eventually

I’m looking forward to seeing how things pan out. 🙂

We’re a little off the traditional order too:

    1. Go to college

    2. Meet boy (half way through undergrad)

    3. Graduate college

    4. Get engaged!

    5. Start law school

    6. Get married (in 7 months, after first year of law school together)

    7. Then graduate law school, get jobs, get a house, get a pet, have babies and live happily ever after (I hope!).

Not exactly how I planned it, but it’ll do. Smile

    go to college

    meet boy

    graduate college

    date everyone but the boy

    relocate to the big city

    start dating the boy

    get engaged

    buy a house/move in together

    plan a wedding

    get married

This is totally not the timeline I expected, but it works.

Well, mine’s not too far out of “order”

    – Meet boy

    – Go to college

    – Graduate (me)

    – Get married

    – Graduate (him)

    – etc.

Ooh, great post! Mine went (and is going) like this:

Meet and fall in love with boy

    Start high school

    Graduate high school

Start college, move to another city that he is also moving to (not living together)

    Move into together

    Get engaged

    Graduate college

    Get married

Move to new town for grad school

    Graduate from grad school

    Buy house together

    Have kids?
