@Kjeff760:  I had Shipyard Pumpkin Head last year.  It was pretty good!  One of my friends is obsessed with Cottonwood Pumpkin.  As in… he bought a whole case of it last year.

@ieatunicorns:  Ha ha, maybe you should hide some so he can’t drink them all?

@gardenroses:  No I haven’t!  I’ll keep on the lookout for it!  Harpoon’s UFO Pumpkin is one of my favorite, as is Abita’s Pecan Harvest Ale.

Southern Tier Pumpkin Ale is the best (it’s got a fancy name).  Dogfish’s is all right.  Sam Adams doesn’t really count as craft beer anymore.

I like Thanksgiving.  And wearing sweaters outside…because I wear them inside all summer long.  Damn you air conditioning!

Wearing boots. Honestly, that’s the only good thing I can think of. I love summer and autumn depresses me almost as much as winter.

Cooler weather and candy corn/mellowcreme pumpkins. I know that candy corn is sold at other times of the year but it just doesn’t feel right to eat it outside of Halloween.

@peachacid:  You’re right about Sam Adams, but their Oktoberfest was the first fall beer I saw, and I got really excited about their fall sampler pack.  I didn’t even see any other fall beers until I bought the second one!  I haven’t heard of Southern Tier Pumpkin Ale, but I’ll be on the lookout for that one, too.  I missed out on some fall beer last year because I didn’t realize it would be gone by October.  Majorly bummed on that one.

DH and I are having a pre-Fall hibernation practice tonight. Basically I am going home with a bottle of red, making comfort food and we’re putting on jammies, getting under covers and playing Okami until we’re cross-eyed. And there also might be something herbal involved too. Ahem. And ice cream sundaes until we puke.

I <3 FALL!

I love everything everyone has mentioned!! Fall is the best!

To be more specific, I love cool mornings and nights, I love hearing the leaves crackling under my feet when I walk, and I love the earlier twilights. I love coming in from a walk with cold apple cheeks, and I love having a warm cup of hot chocolate. I love being able to snuggle with my Fiance – in the summer I push him away because he is like a furnace.

I also love knowing that Christmas is coming, that is such wonderful anticipation.
